Most Valuable Players - Katie

Katie

(Emmaus Student)

Since graduating Emmaus, Katie has gone on to pursue a B.A. in Musical Theatre from DeSales University and will graduate May 2012 with plans to move to NYC to pursue her dream of being an actress. She has participated in six different productions throughout her years at DSU, her favorite roles including Dot in Sunday in the Park with George and most recently Guinevere in Camelot.

Katie has also been employed for the past four summers at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, a regional Equity theatre company, where in 2009 she received her first principal role in an Equity production as Martha Jefferson in 1776. Other PSF productions she has worked on include: Cyrano de BergeracRomeo & JulietSouth PacificPride & Prejudice, and many more. When not singing, dancing, and reciting Shakespeare she has spent her time traveling to distant lands and trying to acquire as much worldly wisdom as possible.

And of course the dynamic duo is still together (if not in proximity any longer, still in heart). Ali & Katie spent Christmas together in Disney World this past holiday season reeking havoc on Mickey & Minnie. They remain the very very best of friends.
